Vanessa and Ray were married on 15th July 2011 at St Helens Church, Wheathampstead. We’ve filmed at St Helen’s a number of times in the past but never with a ‘Scottish Piper’ to escort the bride in. After the ceremony a short drive to the lovely St Michaels Manor for reception and evening enterainment. We were blessed with a dry day and got some stunning film by the lake and in gardens.

Thanks again to Vanessa and Raymond for allowing us to share their special day! We enjoyed every minute.

This was one of those weddings which fell into the ‘dream’ category, we filmed Sam and Scott at their UK wedding and then flew out to Spain after them to film their Spanish party.

On a windy May 22^nd the sun came out and Gaynes Park looked a picture for spectacular Wedding.

Choosing the right Wedding Videographer

If you’re new to the business of getting married, and most of us are {!}, you’re going to need a bit of advice on choosing your wedding videographer. My first bit of advice would be don’t leave it too late! Just like wedding photographers, the best of us wedding videographers get booked up months in advance, so start your research early.

Ask your friends if they would recommend anyone and search online, but make sure you watch a good selection of their work, because you’re going to want someone with experience. As you watch other couples’ wedding videos, you’ll start to get a sense of what you like and don’t like, and that’ll help inform your choice.

It’s always worth asking for references and testimonials as well. You want your wedding videographer to be unobtrusive and friendly.

Always ask to see some examples of their ‘own‘ work. Along those lines, before you book anyone, make sure you meet them for a coffee, or at least have a chat on the phone. You want to make sure they’re the kind of person who works well with other people, after all, they’re going to have to work around the caterers, wedding photographer, vicar or officiant, and all your guests!

After a very busy start to our year including moving to a lovely new studio, we’re now back up to full speed with our editing.

It seems like once you’ve got your wedding dress on, the whole day becomes a fast-moving blur of family, friends, toasts, dancing and fireworks {if you’re lucky!}.
Your wedding pictures will help you catch up on what was going on while you were talking to Auntie Maud, but to get a real sense of the atmosphere of your wedding day, you need a wedding video.

A good wedding videographer will take hours of footage, but mix it all down to one succinct short wedding video that encapsulates your big day.

When you watch it, the blur will become memories, and that’s what weddings are all about. You’ll remember how you felt as you walked down the aisle, as you listened to your husband’s toast, and your first dance. And you’ll see all your friends having the time of their life on the dance floor.
